Drive or fly to Pokhara.
Drive to the trailhead, begin trekking.
Uphill trek through rhododendron forest to Ghorepani.
Pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill for sunrise over the Annapurnas, continue to Tadapani.
Descend and re-climb into the Modi Khola valley to Chhomrong.
Enter the Annapurna Sanctuary through bamboo forest.
Reach ABC (4,130m), surrounded by the Annapurna massif.
Descend, optional hot spring stop at Jhinu Danda.
Final descent, drive back to Pokhara.
Return to Kathmandu.
